About Julius
I am a native German speaker who lived and studied in Germany until the age of 23. I then spent a year in Denmark and have been based in Montreal for nearly three years, which is why I am also fluent in English.
I am currently a doctoral student at the Université de Montréal and have supported colleagues, friends, and faculty with German translations, applications, and private language coaching.
As a classical musician, I have a strong and intuitive connection to the German language and culture, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with my students.

All my lessons are individually tailored to each student’s needs and level. The goal is to build a solid foundation and feel confident using German in everyday communication.
I work with a wide range of materials (books, newspapers, podcasts, films, etc.) to create engaging and effective lessons. We focus on listening, reading, speaking, and writing, always adapted to your personal goals.
Vocabulary and grammar are developed naturally, with a strong emphasis on practical use — we will speak a lot. I aim to ensure steady, gradual progress, which is why I recommend regular lessons.
All levels are welcome, from complete beginners to advanced learners — motivation is the only requirement.
