About Callum

I’m Callum (aka Mulholland), a Bristol-based DJ, producer, and co-owner of the Amity record label and event series. I’ve played in clubs and festivals across Bristol, London, Scotland, Ireland, Croatia, and Australia and I'm ready to show you a wealth of real-world experience in every lesson. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your technique and stage presence, I’ll guide you through beatmatching, smooth transitions, set building, and reading the crowd — all with a focus on developing your unique style. Having worked extensively within Bristol’s vibrant electronic scene and beyond, I understand what it takes to go from bedroom practice to club-ready confidence. Let’s get your DJ skills up to scratch and your sets sounding professional! House / Techno / Jungle / D&B / Garage / Electro / UK Funky / Dancehall / Reggaeton / Hip-Hop

About the lesson

DJing is an exciting journey, and I’m here to help you build solid skills and confidence from the very beginning. In our lessons, we will cover key areas such as: Beatmatching, mixing, and phrasing techniques, Using effects creatively to enhance your sets, Blending with 3 or 4 decks, Exploring different mixing styles, Music discovery, collection management, and Rekordbox preparation, Building engaging DJ sets and advice on getting gigs. My goal is to help you improve your mixes, build your confidence, and get you ready to play your first (or next) live sets. Thanks for reading — I look forward to working with you!

I have worked with Callum for a number of years both as a collaborator and as a mixing and mastering engineer. His passion truly shines through in his work and has brought many of my songs to life, where they had previously been lacking. He’s honest yet kind with his feedback and has been a real inspiration to work with and alongside.
