About Ryan
Hi, I'm Ryan, 16 years old, a Head boy in high school, currently a lead guitarist in a band and active within the Hamilton music scene. Have jammed with some great musicians and some well-known ones too.
I have a passion for anything music and sports and can play multiple instruments but my true calling is from the guitar. I listen to a lot of older music from musicians like CCR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, Tom Petty, 3 Doors Down, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones, The Beatles and many more.
I first learned classical guitar and then ventured off into Blues, Country and Rock. In recent times, I have been experimenting with Jazz elements.

Guitar lessons from me will depend on the student. One on one lessons will revolve around the student and what music they would like to be able to play. I find that playing what you like to listen to, especially in the early stages of learning an instrument, often creates a positive environment to learn.
Lessons usually last 30 minutes for beginners, 45 minutes for intermediate, 1 hour for advanced.
I have played in a few bands around Hamilton and have gigged in the past. Have also taught two people how to play at a high level and have built guitars from scratch.
These lessons are aimed at people from the ages of 8 to 16 (exceptions can be made).
