I have a master’s degree in library science, specialising in pedagogy, with a bachelor’s in medieval literature. I have been tutoring and giving academic help since university, and have provided one-on-one tutoring to children in my local area for the last couple years.

Every person has their own learning style (kinetic, visual, aural, by example, etc.), so I like to experiment and see which works best for the student.
In both essay writing, and reading comprehension, I find most people have brilliant ideas, but have trouble identifying them. My job, therefore, is to draw it out of them, using whatever medium with which they are most comfortable (for example, conversation, free-writes, drawings).
