About Sofea
Currently a Sociology student at the University of Poitiers in France. I was a straight As student for my SPM in 2019 - I achieved 11As, as well as an A+ in English, and have received the band 8.5 for my IELTS.
I've worked with all kinds of students from Standard 5 to Form 5. I've received the Bronze Award in the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition in 2019. I've also debated in numerous debating competitions, notably the WIRA Championship, which means I can help you not only in your writing, but also in speaking confidently and fluently.
All I hope for, at the end of the day, is to make you feel more comfortable in English than you were when we first started.

As someone who has gone through the IELTS exam, I'm ready to help you be more comfortable in English so you can ace the IELTS or even just to improve your English. I received band 9 for the speaking, reading, and listening sections of the IELTS, and am prepared to give you a comfortable, less rigid learning experience. As a student myself, I can give you advice and help based on my own experience.
I am also able to teach you grammar. My approach to helping you learn grammar is by having you write a fun essay about something that interests you, and then going through the essay together, line by line, to see if anything needs fixing and explaining the reason behind every grammatical choice.
