About Jude
I am a recent graduate in Applied Math and Physics, and I have been lucky enough to help teach in college classrooms, office hours, online, and individually. Beyond that, I'm a 4-year camp counselor and Outdoors Guide for kids between 11 and 17 in the Backcountry and Wyoming Wilderness. All this considered, I've taught Math, Physics, Bear hangs, topo maps, anchors, and belaying in Classrooms, on the sides of cliffs, and over Zoom for folks ranging from 11-23. I've been lucky enough to teach a lot of things in a lot of situations, and what sticks with me the most is the connections you make with people, which encourages my main belief: To teach is to connect.

To teach is to connect. My lessons are split into two main sections: a discussion, conversation, or lecture-style section and a collaborative work section. First, we discuss and connect on the topic or problem at hand, figuring out where the problem lies and how to move past it. Next we work together more as peers than a teacher and student, the goal is for you as the student to reach the answers and Im there along the way to poke you in the right direction and answer any lingering questions.
