I have over a year of teaching experience, having taught middle school English language learners for a year then working as a pre-k teacher for a summer.
I structure my lesson plans around the needs and interests of my students. I make sure to go at the pace you need and believe strongly in ensuring that you are getting the information you need to meet your goals specifically. As such, my lesson plans vary widely depending on your needs and what sort of lesson keeps you engaged and challenges you at the appropriate level. For English as a second language lessons, I am a firm believer in utilizing your native language and culture to assist in learning English. I can teach English as a second language at any level. My tutoring in linguistics, English language arts, reading, and literacy is best for students that are sophomore level students or below.
