Hi,
My name is Isobel, I am a recent graduate of Newcastle University with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
I have 3 years of experience tutoring a range of ages in STEM topics and I have guided many students successfully towards their exams during this period. I have a range of techniques available to employ and I'm excited to find out which one will suit you best.

As I teach such a wide range of abilities, I like to tailor my approach to each student. Normally I would structure a lesson as follows:
1.) I get an idea of what you would like to cover in the lesson (This could be specific topics, a future exam, or even just a better understanding of the subject)
2.) I take you through the content (This could involve maths on the whiteboard, videos, or whatever teaching material feels most appropriate to your understanding)
3.) You take over (At this point I would usually introduce worksheets or exam past papers so you can practice the theory of the topic just covered)
Typical lessons can be between 30 minutes to 1 hour.

A-Levels (Maths B, Chemistry B and Biology B)
Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering
Experience
3 years tutoring at First-Class Learning
I have tutored from KS1 to A-Level so I am very comfortable moving through GCSE content, SATs, 11 plus and all other secondary school content. Happy to tutor between age 10 and adults.
