I want to make the challenging pursuit of learning Mandarin fun! I have lived in China and can teach beyond classroom language, but can also follow another teacher's curriculum closely and effectively. Having been a Chinese student myself in both high school and college, I understand firsthand the biggest challenges of learning the language and how to attack them.
I can teach the foundations of character writing as well as speaking and reading. I especially enjoy incorporating entertainment media in my lessons to engage students.
