Alina and I know each other from college at Duke University. She has always been super passionate about education and is always willing and excited to help others. Alina is very patient and truly cares about the success of her students, which are both strong characteristics of a good leader. Alina has had previous tutoring experience in computer science and language arts at Duke University, and really enjoyed her experiences there. Alina is flexible, patient, and willing to do anything to help her students reach their highest potential. Alina would make a great teacher in the SuperProf community, and I hope she gets the opportunity to thrive in an environment where she brings out the best in individuals trying to develop their skills in the classroom.

Alina was my TA for compsci 101. She always went above and beyond to make sure me and all of her students were cared for in the classroom. She took the time to explain concepts to me I didn’t understand and go over why I got a question wrong. These are two very important attributes for a tutor for college prep exams in particular.
