I am a dedicated Scottish teacher and UK university graduate with a genuine passion for English, music, and sport. I have always loved reading and writing, and I am committed to inspiring creativity, confidence, and curiosity within young minds.
With two years of teaching and tutoring experience, I understand the importance of professionalism, strong communication, and high expectations. I pride myself on being kind, caring, motivated, and passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.
I create a positive, structured learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged, and proud of their progress. My goal is not only to improve academic performance, but to build lasting confidence and a love of learning.

I believe every child learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit the individual. I take time to understand a pupil’s strengths, areas for development, and preferred learning style, creating a supportive environment where they feel confident and motivated.
My lessons are structured yet flexible, using clear modelling, guided and independent practice, retrieval techniques, and interactive activities to reinforce understanding. I adapt my teaching in line with the current UK curriculum and stay up to date with any changes to ensure pupils are fully prepared.
Lessons typically last 1–1.5 hours, allowing time to review previous learning, introduce new concepts, and consolidate skills effectively.
I am a UK university graduate with two years of classroom teaching experience and two years of tutoring experience.
I provide English tuition for primary pupils up to Year 6, supporting those who need extra help, confidence-building, exam preparation, or additional challenge.
