My background is that of a private tutor with a BCom (Honours in Accounting) and presently an MSc Accounting & Finance student. Hello! After earning a BCom (Accounting Honours), I'm now working towards an MSc in Accounting and Finance. With two years of experience as a private tutor and a solid background in accounting, finance, maths, and English, my objective is to help students develop confidence and comprehension rather than just memorise answers. How I teach • I begin at your level: During the initial meeting, I evaluate your current knowledge and identify your difficulties, so we won’t be spending time on topics you have already mastered. • Concept first, then practice: I teach concepts using simple language, and then we go through questions step-by-step until you are able to do them on your own. • Clear methods for exams: I guide you on proper answer presentation (especially in Accounting/Finance), time management, and how to sidestep the most common errors. • Friendly and patient learning: Students are most receptive to learning when they feel free to ask "basic" questions—therefore I keep my sessions calm, supportive, and devoid of judgement. • Progress tracking: I provide short practice activities and quick reviews so that you can notice progress every week.
