About Samantha
I graduated from Ball State University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Life Science Education, as well as a Biology degree. With my 5 years of teaching experience, I have taught the following subjects: middle school life science, middle school biology, high school physics, high school chemistry, as well as a project-based learning class that focused on laboratory safety. Along with teaching, I coach soccer and track. I just love being involved, and helping students/athletes learn the fundamentals to expand their knowledge to the next level! As far as personal life goes, I have a daughter who was born in July 2025, a loving husband who is also a teacher/coach, and 2 energetic dogs! We love going for walks, watching sports, trying new foods, hanging out with friends, and so much more!

I am someone who tries to come up with creative ways to teach lessons hands-on. I know with an online platform that makes things difficult sometimes, but demonstrations and visual learning are important when you are learning new, or complex, concepts in science. Science is a subject that is always expanding, which is why I love adapting lessons to make sense of the real world around us!
