About Maisa Nur
Hi! I am Maisa. I’m deeply passionate about helping students reach their full potential and develop confidence in their learning. I believe that every student can succeed with the right support, clear explanations, and encouragement. As someone who understands the challenges of studying and preparing for assessments, I aim to make learning approachable and tailored to the students' needs, and more importantly, enjoyable. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge, inspire curiosity, and see students grow in both skill and self-belief. I’m patient, organized, and genuinely enjoy explaining concepts in a way that makes sense. Hence, I find teaching incredibly rewarding, it’s a beautiful journey that can spark curiosity and transform how students feel about subjects they once found challenging.

As a first ranker in English Advanced in my school, I am passionate about the subject and I am able to teach in a way to spark and enhance your interest. I have extensive knowledge of essay writing, stemming from my own journey from being an average to a confident writer. As a tutor, I aim to prioritize your weaknesses and address them carefully. English is unlike other subjects as it requires a different learning technique and I sincerely hope to make this journey enjoyable as well as rewarding as we will focus on how to get top marks on any tests or assignments that you are assigned to complete.
