About Keerthi
I grew up in the Bay Area and studied Psychology at UC Berkeley. While I did my undergraduate training, I worked as a tutor and mentor for students across the Bay Area. After graduating, I was a high school teacher based in New York City, where I taught several subjects including English, Psychology, and Special Education. I taught for 3 years in the public school setting, got my Masters in Teaching, as well as my teaching certification. Then, I went on to get my yoga teacher certification, and now teach yoga on the side for fun :)
Currently I am doing my doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology and am based in San Francisco. I work with all kinds of clients for my training in psychology, but miss being in the teaching/tutoring role!
For fun, I love to go outside and be active, either in a forest, a beach, or in the city! I love to eat all kinds of food and explore new places. I also love to play instruments and listen to music :)

Hi there, my name is Keerthi! Although I am a current doctorate student in Psychology, I have experience and a passion for teaching and tutoring.
I enjoy working with students to build their academic and personal skills. My teaching and tutoring style is rooted in individualized lessons crafted for each student based on their strengths and areas of interest. Typically, lessons will include a check-in, lesson/skill portion, and a practice/review portion. I love to get to know students and have a good time with them while maintaining productivity and engagement. I enjoy connecting with all kinds of students and finding what works best for them, as well as developing their interest in different subjects. I am flexible and easy to work with!
Lessons are for students in middle school and high school. Although primarily I am a test prep tutor, I am available to tutor other subjects including Math, English, and Psychology.
