About Louisa
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from BYU-Idaho in 2021. Since then, I have kept a small studio of voice students ranging in age from 12 to 63. I have worked with collegiate men's and women's choirs, mixed choirs, and orchestras. I currently conduct a volunteer church choir and love every minute. I stay at home with two small children and still make time to practice every day, though with many more interruptions and toddler participation.

A typical lesson involves warm-ups to strengthen the muscles in our bodies that we use to sing. Sirens, vocal exercises, and stretches get us ready to sing our best!
Next, we dive into repertoire. I love giving students a wide variety of genres to find what they're good at and improve where they need to. I like to use jazz, musical theater, and classical with anyone I teach. But if there is one of those you gravitate towards, we can always spend more time there! When working in repertoire, I always make sure that my students improve their music literacy. Great vocalists are great musicians too!
My goal is to get you singing at your healthiest, which results in confidence and more love for the voice you have. Whether you're 12 or 72, just starting to discover your voice or with years of experience, I'd love to see you at your next level.
