About Sarah
I am currently an elementary special education teacher with a degree in special education and early childhood. I have worked with kids since I was in high school and fell in love with the profession of teaching. I love making students engaged and having fun while being successful. I got students out of special education services as they achieved their goals to be in the general education classroom. I love finding new ways to teach math, reading, and writing and I love working with letters and phonics the most! Math has so many ways to solve, as a teacher I know multiple ways to solve one problem!

I create very interactive lessons which use all learning styles such as visual, hearing, and other ways for students to learn. Each student is unique as I give them multiple ways to meet their needs. Students will be given needed accommodations and resources to help them be successful. Not only using those resources but making a connection with them student to make them feel safe and comfortable in the learning environment.
