About Michael
Currently, I am studying my master's in Aquatic Environmental Science. After I finish, I intend on moving forward in a teaching career. I feel it is right for students to approach teaching with knowledge both in my field and life itself. I believe in a mentor-first approach to teaching, and want to be someone students can rely on without the stressors of class outweighing it. I am very organized and prepared with my time, and my students' time is no less important to me as my own. Planning for scheduled tutoring sessions or preparing tutoring materials is something I always do in a timely manner, and I can be as flexible for my students as possible to give them the best opportunity to learn.

- I plan to teach anything as low as understanding concepts from the basics to bridging topics together.
- I work remotely, so we can discuss coursework, problems, and other topics that a one-on-one discussion would help.
- Outside of Zoom hours, I will look over the topics that need support and will develop lesson plans and other tutoring materials before our meeting.
- These lessons can be for anything as little as a problem on a worksheet to a whole class/degree path.
