About Olivia
Hi there! I'm Olivia — a tutor, mentor, and big believer in making learning feel encouraging, approachable, and even a little fun. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a background in economics and applied mathematics, but what really drives me is helping students feel confident and supported, no matter where they are in their learning journey. I’ve spent years working with kids and teens as a tennis coach, babysitter, and tutor. Whether I’m breaking down a tricky math problem, guiding a student through a school project, or just helping them stay organized and focused, I always try to meet them where they are — with patience, understanding, and a smile. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me out on the tennis court, painting, or baking something sweet (chocolate chip cookies are a favorite!). I truly love working with young learners and look forward to helping your child learn, grow, and feel proud of what they can do.

My goal is to make math feel less intimidating and more empowering. I create a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing their confidence with every session.
How I Teach:
I explain concepts step by step, using real-life examples and simple language. I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style, always aiming for true understanding—not just memorization.
