About Daniel
While pursuing a degree in Data Science and an Economics minor, I took multiple collegiate-level calculus courses along the way. In addition to that, I tutored multiple underclassmen in mathematics and statistics courses. I currently work full-time as a data consultant in Chicago, so many of the practices that I learned are still applied in my day-to-day life.

Typical lessons will begin by walking through an example of the concept with the student. Throughout my time as a student, I found concepts much easier to understand when the "why" was explained. What is the goal of the problem and why are we getting this answer? We will work through examples, slowly transitioning the problem-solving responsibility to the student as they get more comfortable with the concept at hand. I have experience tutoring different age ranges, having helped tutor middle school students and college students before. I understand that each person learns in different ways, so I will refine my approach to each student. These lessons are for middle school and high school students currently enrolled in algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus courses.
