About Wei
My name is Tang Wei (Katrina), a 34-year-old Taiwanese national and Singapore Permanent Resident, and a mother of one. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages (Teaching) from National Chiayi University (2010–2014).
I have four years of teaching experience as an English teacher at Hong Ren Girls’ High School in Taiwan, where I taught secondary-level students. Since 2024, I have been working as a private tutor, teaching students from primary level (PSLE preparation) to secondary level (GCE O-Level). In addition, I conduct airline interview skills training in Taiwan and Malaysia. In addition, I’m always working part-time at a tuition center teaching primary Chinese.
I studied in San Francisco for seven years, which strengthened my English proficiency and cross-cultural communication skills. After graduating with a teaching degree, I joined Singapore Airlines as a Flight Attendant, where I served for 10 years. I left Singapore Airlines in 2024 and am currently a full-time tutor and Airline Interview Skills Instructor at Aironlyone.
I am now seeking to return to my early passion for education and am eager to contribute my teaching experience, international exposure, and strong communication skills in an academic environment.
