About Gray
I’m Gray (they/them) and I’m a neurodivergent Biology Tutor! I am a Gender and Women’s studies graduate who specialized in a disability studies and biology track (odd combination I know). But this combination allows me to approach the subject from a wide perspective, while also influencing how I teach and my approach. I have a keen understanding of how traditional classroom methods often times fail neurodivergent and marginalized students. As a result my teaching methodology is holistic in not only helping students learn but also in understanding and identifying HOW they learn and what their needs are in the classroom. Whether you identify as neurodivergent or not, this approach often times benefits most students because it is student centered. I look forward to working with you!

I focus on a interdisciplinary approach, to ensure students understand concepts on their own terms. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent students, to supplement ways in which traditional education may fall short and break down concepts in novel ways. This approach centers on assessing how each student learns, and leveraging their interests to make connections to the content at hand.
