I am passionate about tutoring students and explaining concepts in ways most effective for the individual student to understand. For example, if a student struggling with math is an avid soccer player, I will use examples and explain concepts that relate to a soccer scenario. I speak clearly, articulately, and try to keep things simple so they are easy to understand. My tutoring methodology is very interactive. I expect students to be actively engaged, asking questions, and participating when I ask a question. I believe that practice makes perfect and I will encourage students to try problems on their own before relying on me to tell them how to solve it.
