About Sharon
I am Afro-Peruvian and can speak both English and Spanish. I enjoy reading books of different genres and encourage my students to do the same. I enjoy making my lesson plans fun and relatable to my students. You can always expect me to crack a joke with my students. Building positive relationships with my students is extremely important to me. You are not just students, you are human beings with lives outside of school/tutoring. All aspects of your lives are important and matter.

My lessons include a lot of visuals, fun images, real-life connections, and often times references to real-life events that can be relatable to all students. My lessons are for grades 5 -12. I always start with a dun do now to help learners warm-up to the upcoming lesson. I also provide brain breaks for learners to take time to recharge during the lesson.
