About Kevin
I’m a professional artist and drawing instructor dedicated to helping students build confidence, technical skill, and their own creative voice.
I graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design, where I received formal training in drawing, illustration, design, and visual storytelling. My education gave me a strong foundation in the core principles of art—composition, perspective, anatomy, shading, and observational drawing—which I now teach in a clear and approachable way.
As a tutor, my goal is to create a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace. I take professionalism seriously: lessons are organized, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student’s experience level—whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or an advanced student refining your technique.
I believe anyone can learn to draw with the right guidance and consistent practice. My role is to break complex artistic concepts into manageable steps, provide constructive feedback, and help students develop the skills and confidence they need to grow as artists.

Art & Drawing Tutor
I offer personalized art and drawing lessons focused on building strong technical skills while encouraging creativity and confidence. My teaching approach combines classical drawing fundamentals with practical exercises, helping students develop both their observation skills and their individual artistic style.
Lessons cover key techniques such as observational drawing, shading and tonal values, perspective, composition, gesture drawing, and basic anatomy. I guide students through demonstrations, hands-on practice, and constructive feedback so they can understand not only how to draw, but how to see and think like an artist.
A typical lesson includes a short warm-up exercise, introduction of a specific concept, guided drawing practice, and a review of the work with personalized feedback.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate artists, hobbyists, and students preparing for art school or university portfolios. Each session is adapted to the student’s level, goals, and interests, creating a supportive environment for both technical improvement and creative exploration.
