About Marcel
I am a biologist with every strand of my DNA.
As with so many children, my fascination began as a small boy with dinosaurs and the older I got, the more the world opened up to me with all its creatures and the most exciting story of all time, the story of life itself.
The enthusiastic transfer of knowledge is very close to my heart, as I am firmly convinced that everyone can become fascinated in the teaching of life on earth.

I completed my university degree in biology with a Master of Science. I specialised in zoology, evolution and ecology. However, I am enthusiastic about the entire spectrum of biology and I really enjoy passing on knowledge. I have worked as a tutor at university and have taken courses in science communication and scientific writing. I teach at school level but also at university level in my areas of specialisation.
