I frequently coach the student in fleshing out the textures (like sensory details) in their writings. Very often, it helps them stand out in their college admission esssays.
When it comes to screenwriting, I help them become more visual-based and economic in their dialogue and action writing.
Sometimes I like to give out a Word(s) of the Day every week to help them retain information.
