About Lucy
Hi I’m Lucy a violin teacher from London.
I spent my early violin years as a Suzuki student before joining the Purcell School of Music and later the Royal Academy of Music.
My love of the violin definitely stemmed from the early years and this is why I love to incorporate some Suzuki method into my teaching as well.
I have played with many orchestras and chamber groups as well as playing with numerous bands and pop groups.
I teach all levels from age 4 onwards and have a fun yet structured approach to teaching.

A student of both the Purcell School in London and the Royal Academy of Music I have been taught by some of the best teachers, this largely influenced my teaching style over the years.
I pay a keen interest in technique at the very beginning stages so as to make playing the violin both effortless and beautiful.
I have a very high distinction rate for ABRSM grade examinations and can also prepare children for school entrance scholarships.
Playing an instrument should be something that brings so much joy and a lifelong love of music.
