About Gaia
I have just finished my MPhil in Development Studies at the University of Cambridge (73%). Prior to that, I received a First-Class with Distinction from the University of York and received the prize for the best overall performance by a Stage Three Student (76) and for my dissertation which received 85.
At A level, I achieved an A* in History with full marks in my coursework. At GCSE, I received a 9.
I am a highly driven individual with academically exceptional results in History. This is matched by a kind, tailored and friendly approach to tutoring where I genuinely want to help students reach their potential and the best grade they can.

I offer a tailored approach to tutoring according to the ability of the student. As a previous maths tutor during my undergraduate degree, I have experience teaching to a wide range of students from across KS3, KS4 and KS5. I understand the difficulties that students may have with History, in terms of clear writing, understanding what the examiner is looking for and how to achieve a great grade. I teach with care and compassion. I prepare tasks and structure my lessons according to what the student would like to work and set homework to benefit the student's learning. Furthermore, I am happy to read and guide students on essays and coursework.
The more questions tutees ask the better; I do not judge my students and I am always happy to guide them and help.
