About Kallen
I have been playing music for a long time and recently dove deep into music production. I studied at the University of Michigan focusing on percussion, composition, and music business. I also studied film, television, and media so I am also well-versed in creating videos to support musicians. I can play and understand how to teach a multitude of other instruments including but not limited to guitar, bass guitar, and voice as well as concert band instruments. Once I learned how to jam I became much more in love with music because it enabled me to learn and express myself in ways I had not previously imagined. I hope to teach others how unconventional learning methods for music can be enlightening and incredibly enjoyable.

About the lesson

The lesson will start with choosing which instruments you wish to focus on and how best to record them on Ableton Live. We will go over elements of composition for requested genres and take an improvisational approach to music making. There will be an option to learn more about lyricism and other songwriting methods that would not otherwise be taught in the usual music curriculum.
