About Jalia
Hello! My name is Jalia, and I am a recent graduate from the University of South Carolina. I am a hardworking and dedicated person, and one of my biggest goals as a tutor is to help others succeed. My student should leave my session with more knowledge and understanding than when they arrived. Questions are just as essential in comprehension, so ask away, no matter how many times! I am very patient when explaining the material being covered, and will further break down the material for better understanding. My purpose for tutoring is to help others in hopes that someone that I have taught will pass on that knowledge to someone else.

As a tutor, I believe that teaching methods vary from person to person. This can be based on how one learns (i.e. auditory learner vs. visual learner, etc.). Patience, sympathy, and empathy are very important values that I adhere to, and being a recent graduate means that I can relate to the learning challenges that a student may face. I believe that this is what sets me apart from others. The lessons can be for seniors heading to college or college students.
