As a tutor with a deep knowledge of math and physics, I love to guide students toward the answers to their problems. Instead of just stating facts and information, I believe that the most effective way of learning something is to discover it yourself. This is something I help students to do by asking them leading questions and giving them facts and equations as needed.
I like to start my lessons by asking what the student already knows about the subject. From there, I think it is helpful to build up to solving problems piece-by-piece. I understand that everyone has different background knowledge and different areas of misunderstanding. As a result, I am patient, understanding, and flexible.
