About Omonike
I’m an enthusiastic English tutor specialising in 11+ preparation and GCSE English. I have always had a passion for English and enjoy helping students develop their confidence, creativity, and understanding of the subject. I want to teach because I believe every student has the ability to succeed when they receive the right support and encouragement.
My aim is to make English enjoyable while helping students improve their skills and achieve their full potential.

Hi, I’m Omonike, a dedicated English tutor specialising in 11+ preparation and GCSE English. I have 6+ months of tutoring experience and tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, focusing on building confidence, improving exam technique, and developing strong reading and writing skills.
I achieved 3 A grades at A Level in English, Latin, and History, and graduated from UCL with a 2:1 degree. My 1-hour lessons are structured, supportive, and designed to help students make progress while developing a genuine confidence in English.
I work with students preparing for 11+ exams and GCSE English, helping them strengthen their comprehension, creative writing, analysis, and exam skills.
