About Avery
I teach children on a daily basis and am good about making sure I am being understood and the material I’m teaching makes sense. If it doesn’t then I’m also good at asking questions and allowing the student to make the connection without me telling it to them. As a recent graduate myself I can understand and utilize learning methods and certain tricks that helped me through school.

My lessons are geared towards helping children understand and solve the importance of history connecting to other events especially the present. What sets me apart is that I feel I can connect with students because of my general understanding of their age plus I teach and get along well with high schoolers. My personal expertise is in European history and I cater better to middle or high school classes.
