I am aiming to teach beginner drawing and/or painting in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. I like to assess students to understand what their interests are within art and their own practice, and their current technical level. I hone in on key components of their practice to facilitate a successful execution of their concepts whatever they may be. For example, if a student wants to learn realism, we might have to change the way they 'see'. We learn to develop individual relationships with all of our materials so we can know what the capabilities of those materials are.
