I have two learning disabilities and never performed well in math, and Jordan was the only teacher I was able to actually learn math with. I'd tried numerous tutors, frequenting my university math center, and sitting with my professors after each class, all to no avail - Jordan made it entirely possible for me to progress through my degree and overcome my learning barriers. I specifically struggle with ADHD and dysgraphia; Jordan was the first tutor I'd ever worked with who could reframe concepts and principles in a way I could understand. His teaching style made me feel capable and intelligent, which was something I had craved for more than a decade. My final bit of praise is for Jordan's clear love of his work & study - it's easy to see that they adore their field (of physics!) and have a deep respect for the math that is foundational to it. At the end or beginning of our sessions, I would find myself a little more motivated to learn and put the effort forward as their passion was contagious. Jordan is a wonderful student-oriented teacher that helped ME help MYSELF; any teacher that instills confidence like that is invaluable.
