About Sophia
I have always been highly captivated by people's interaction and thinking towards each other and towards the world, especially bringing people together from different backgrounds. For this reason, after graduating, I want to break the communication barrier with people and teach them to see the world as a whole, not by someone’s skin colour or race. I have showcased my leadership through various activities at school, such as role as prefect, house captain, house counsellor, inter-house council and sports captain. While experiencing and immersing myself in these roles, I have developed interpersonal skills that interrelate with teaching, teamwork, communication skills, confidence, empathy, motivation, and others. What sets me aside from the rest is that I believe a leader is not just about leading the way but making a difference in the process.

Teaching is important, but however I believe in the process helping my students grow as people. I have completed all NCEA levels and achieved my all English assessments to a very high level of critical thinking and with that knowledge I hope pass this knowledge to my students.
