About Lindsey
I am a former Middle School English teacher who loves to read, write, and explain all works of Fiction and Non-Fiction. I taught for almost 4 years in a inner-city school where the majority of my students were ELL learners. My degree is in History, with a double minor in English and Jewish Studies. History is really my passion but I love to teach the writing process, how to come up with a thesis and how to break down an assignment in order to understand it better. I love to travel with my husband and two boys and love to be outside as much as I can.

I love to see where my students' individually are when we start. For example, I love to see their writing so I can see what needs to improve on. I like to see what their process is for going through something they are trying to understand. I am very patient and I know what it is like to struggle with something and a teacher not understand how to help. My goal is to help and make sure my student(s) are comfortable with where they are.
