About Taylor
I have over four years of experience teaching art to students of various ages and skill levels, helping them build confidence while developing strong artistic foundations. During my time as an art teacher, I loved encouraging creativity and guiding students as they discovered their own unique styles. I am currently pursuing my Master of Fine Arts at American University, where I continue to expand my knowledge of contemporary art, painting, and drawing. Combining my classroom teaching experience with advanced graduate-level training allows me to provide thoughtful, engaging lessons that are both technically strong and tailored to each student’s individual goals.

As a professional artist, photographer, and MFA grad student at American University, I bring both technical knowledge and a genuine passion for helping others grow creatively. My lessons are personalized to each student’s goals, experience level, and learning style, whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time, preparing a portfolio, or looking to refine advanced techniques. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions, and building confidence in their artistic abilities. My goal is not only to teach strong drawing and painting skills but also to help each student develop their own unique creative voice and enjoy the artistic process.
