I tailor each lesson to my students learning goals and establish their previous knowledge foundation before building onto it. I also encourage students to arrive at a conclusion using reason, rather than providing answers directly. I like to end my lessons with a summary of what was taught, and then test students retention and understanding of topics by administering quick quizzes.
