Aside from passion, I want to share my wealth of experience from medical laboratories, research in parasitology and my accumulated knowledge through self-study, I am passionate about making the world a better and safer place by educating aspiring scientists with the basics which they require to start from their university studies.

When teaching microbiology, my sessions include the use of animations, real microscope slides and samples which are available in the open source repositories. My approach to teaching involves a divide and conquer approach; which jointly targets good grades and understanding of the subjects by the student. In terms of improving a students understanding, I pay emphasis on how to make a student to be independent and develop the confidence to tackle problems from classroom to laboratory and real-life situations. I also pay attention to some specific conditions of students which makes it difficult for the student to learn, such as ADHD.
