As a tutor, my goal is to make complex ideas in Math, Business, and Economics feel clear, practical, and engaging for high school students. I’m an IB graduate, and I understand the challenges students face—not just academically but also in managing time and staying motivated.
My Teaching Method
I focus on clarity and real-life relevance. I break down each concept into simple, relatable steps, using real-world examples—especially in Business and Economics—to make abstract ideas meaningful. I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style, whether they’re aiming to improve grades, prepare for exams, or simply build confidence in the subject.
Typical Lesson Structure
5 minutes – Recap of last lesson and quick warm-up
30–35 minutes – Concept explanation with examples and active problem-solving
15–20 minutes – Guided practice with feedback, discussion of common errors
5–10 minutes – Summary, questions, and preview of next topic
Homework and revision strategies are also shared after each session based on the student’s progress and upcoming assessments.
