About Karthika
I am a graduate in Social Work, currently pursuing a Master’s in Gender, Violence, and Conflict. I have written multiple papers and articles for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and have previously worked as a government employee with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in India. My academic and professional experiences have strengthened my understanding of social issues, gender dynamics, and human rights, allowing me to bring both practical insights and analytical depth to my teaching and writing support.

I use a student-centred and adaptive teaching approach that focuses on understanding each learner’s pace and style, using practical examples, discussions, and creative exercises to make complex ideas easier to grasp. My lessons typically last between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the topic and the student’s needs. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Gender, Violence, and Conflict, with experience assisting students in thesis writing, oration, and creative writing. My sessions are ideal for high school and university students in the social sciences and humanities, as well as anyone looking to strengthen their writing, analytical, or public speaking skills.
