About Zachary
I have a Bachelor’s degree from Kent State, where I majored in English with a minor in writing and additional focus in sociology, and business/marketing. I have been a writing tutor, an editor for a published author, an Undergraduate Research Assistant, and have presented at conferences both at the local and national level. I specialize in literature and linguistics overall, but have a broad range of experience with: feminist, LGBTQ+, sociology, psychology, and historical literature/pedagogy.

My teaching methodology is based on adaptation - recognizing the individual needs and circumstances of the student in order to find the best learning approach that suits them. As a writing tutor/aspiring English Professor I want to help not only with working through the task at hand, but giving each tutee/student confidence in their abilities first and foremost.
