About Emily
Hello! My name is Emily, and I have a bachelor's degree in history, and I am a current student working on my master's in history. I want to be a high school social studies teacher and eventually teach history at the community college level. When I am not working on my schoolwork, I enjoy gardening, reading, and hiking. Hi! My name is Emily, and I have a bachelor's degree in history, and I am currently working on a master's in history. I love all things history, but my specialty is US history. I especially enjoy the Civil War, the New Deal, and World War II. I also enjoy writing and offer help with essays as well. I am currently a substitute teacher working at the middle and high school level, but I enjoy working with all ages. My teaching style focuses on discussion and critical thinking, and my goal is to help students build confidence in understanding historical events. Whether you need help preparing for a class, improving essays, studying for exams, or simply want to explore history in a more engaging way, I would love to help!
