About Jaye
Teaching math to young people is my passion. Over my 33 years of teaching math to my students, I like to believe that I do not allow any student to be left behind. I make sure that every student advances in their math ability. If you don’t like math, that’s ok. I’ll help you understand it and apply it to your life so you can see why you need math. Algebra is my favorite subject to teach!

Hands-on discovery is my favorite way to teach students to learn. If students can explain their thinking and justify their answer to someone else then I know they have learned. As a good friend, Pam Harris, says math is figure-out-able. It’s my job to help students figure it out.
