About Rasa
I am a graduate of the STADIO School of Education. I have had personal experience in teaching Grades R-3 (equivalent to kindergarten till third grade) and have designed Mathematics worksheets and English worksheets during my teaching practice period and gave learners instructions as to how to complete those worksheets. I am proficient in Afrikaans and English (speaking and writing). I am a very friendly, patient and hardworking educator.
My hobbies include travelling overseas (I've visited France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, USA, Sweden and many more countries); reading; watching anime; playing PS5 and walks in nature.

I believe that every learner is unique and therefore has unique needs and abilities and as such I intend to cater for learners who learn best when there are stimulating visuals involved, learners who benefit from reading material and learners who learn by note-taking and verbally discussing ideas.
I intend to identify what prior knowledge learners' already have about the topic being taught in the lesson and to clarify misconceptions that the learners' might have. Furthermore, I will facilitate learning opportunities that involve getting learners to justify their answers and explain why their answers are correct and in so doing, expand their critical thinking skills.
I am proficient in English and Afrikaans. I am also qualified to teach Mathematics and Life Skills.
My lessons are aimed at learners who are between the ages of 5-9. This aforementioned age bracket is equivalent to primary school level.
