About Payton
As a graduate with a Ph.D. and Master's in psychology, I have been a teaching assistant and instructor for many different psychology fields and classes. I have worked with a diverse population of students including those who have English as a second language. My goal is not for you to regurgitate information, but to understand the psychology concepts you are struggling with. I am approachable and friendly with a plethora of knowledge of psychology and psychological studies.

These psych lessons are for those taking any psychology course/class and/or those seeking a psychology degree. A typical session would start with specific questions or concerns of the student and then tailoring the session to tackle those specific concerns. My teaching methods are less about lectures and more about opening a dialogue with the students to ensure they grasp the psychological concepts they may be struggling with. I seek to connect psychological concepts with students' interests to help facilitate learning.
