About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla, and I am currently a senior pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of La Verne. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong passion for leadership, education, and helping others reach their full potential.

I have held several leadership positions throughout high school and college, including serving in student government, representing students as a senator, and holding executive positions in student organizations and nonprofit initiatives. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.

As a first-generation college student, I understand the importance of having someone who believes in your abilities and encourages you to succeed. I genuinely enjoy learning from others, sharing my knowledge, and creating an environment where students feel supported and confident.

My approach to tutoring is patient, engaging, and personalized. I believe that great leaders are constantly learning, and my goal is not only to help students understand leadership concepts but also to inspire them to recognize their own potential as future leaders.

About the lesson

My leadership lessons are designed to help students develop confidence, strengthen their communication skills, and discover their unique leadership styles. As a senior pursuing my degree in Business Administration, I have gained valuable experience through leadership courses, student government, and various leadership positions within organizations. I believe that leadership is not simply about being in charge, but about inspiring others, understanding different perspectives, and making meaningful decisions. My lessons focus on leadership theories, conflict resolution, teamwork, emotional intelligence, decision-making, and personal development. I create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. My goal is to help students become confident, compassionate, and effective leaders who can apply their skills in academics, professional environments, and everyday life.
