About Rachel
Hi! My name is Rachel. I've been a creative soul all of my life. Before I could write, I would regale friends and family with stories that lived in the vast imagination space inside my head. As I grew up, I started to write these imaginings down. So much so that I have probably hundreds of notebooks filled with stories, story ideas, and even character sheets overflowing my bookshelves. This all led me to pursue (and obtain) my Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing. So you could say that I have a deep love for the art of the story.

Creative expression can spark at any time. I strive to meet you where you are in the process. If we need to break things down and really dive into the different parts of fictional storytelling, that's a great place to start. Typically, I will be starting lessons with a quick writing prompt to get the creative juices flowing. From there, we will be focusing in on honing a creative draft. As lessons progress, we will be working on proofreading and editing your work so it can be as polished as possible at the end of each lesson. I will have you send in a draft of your current work in progress before each lesson so that we can work on tweaking and trimming where needed.
